For more than 23 years, Wagon Wheel Grill & Bar has been more than a restaurant — it’s been a gathering place built on love, hard work, and the belief that good food brings people together.
What started as a simple family dream has grown into a cherished Emporia tradition, where neighbors become friends and visitors feel like they’ve walked into a hometown they didn’t know they missed.
From the beginning, our mission has been simple:
• Serve fresh, hearty meals that feel like home
• Offer friendly, genuine service that makes every guest feel welcome
• Support the community that supports us
Those values were planted by Brenda and her husband Mike, who poured their hearts into every plate and every handshake. In 2023, Their daughter Kelli proudly stepped in to carry the legacy forward. But the Wagon Wheel is still very much a family affair — you’ll see Brenda smiling behind the bar during Happy Hour, Kelli’s husband Jarrod helping in the evenings, and little Barrett wiping down tables with the determination only a kid growing up in a restaurant can have.
Every day, their hands and hearts shape this place. Every meal carries a piece of their story. And every guest who walks through the door becomes part of the Wagon Wheel family.
